More Than Great Playgrounds

The parks are just the beginning. Across Lyndarum North, the outdoor experience is shaped by beautifully preserved River Red Gums, wide open green spaces, and a network of walking trails that make it easy to get outside and stay outside.

Fancy a morning walk before work? There’s a trail for that. Want to let the dog run and the kids roam on a Saturday afternoon? Done. Looking for a spot to spread a picnic blanket and do absolutely nothing for a couple of hours? The community’s got you covered.

It’s a lifestyle that’s genuinely easy to love, where the outdoors feels accessible, safe and inviting every single day of the year.

Lyndarum North’s newest park has just opened, and it’s already a community favourite. Located on Lovicks Road and officially unveiled in March 2026, this 1.1-hectare green space was designed as a standout destination for fun, fitness and connection, and it more than lives up to the brief. Kids will love the brand-new playground, nature play zone, scooter circuit, and basketball/netball half-court, while adults can make the most of the outdoor fitness station or join in on a kick-about on the open lawn.

If there’s one landmark that puts Lyndarum North on the map for families, it’s Kendon Park Playground. Sitting on the corner of Edgars Road and Skyway Avenue, this beloved community staple is anchored by its iconic 8-metre Cubic Tower – a genuine showstopper that draws kids back again and again. Brave the climb and you’ll be rewarded with sweeping views towards the Melbourne CBD, before launching down one of two winding tube slides.

And that’s just the beginning, with four slides in total, climbing nets, tunnels, in-ground mini-trampolines, a metal spinner and even a table tennis table, there’s enough here to keep older kids entertained for hours. Younger children haven’t been forgotten either, with a dedicated toddler zone featuring a charming wooden teepee cubby, xylophone and smaller slides perfectly sized for little adventurers. It’s the kind of playground that makes the whole family want to stay just a little bit longer.

Come See It for Yourself

The best way to understand what makes Lyndarum North special is to walk through it. Bring the family, pack a snack, and let the kids loose in one of the parks.

We think you’ll feel it pretty quickly – that feeling that says this is the kind of place I want to call home.
